Biography
James Kambanga was born in Songea Municipal, situated in the Ruvuma region of southern Tanzania. Currently, he is pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science at Newcastle University’s School of Computing in the United Kingdom. In 2019, he accomplished his undergraduate studies at Sokoine University of Agriculture, earning a distinguished first-class GPA and being conferred with a Bachelor’s degree in Informatics.

In 2020, Mr. James was employed by Sokoine University of Agriculture as a tutorial assistant in Database Management, Web Development and Software Engineering where he is currently working.

Mr. James possesses a profound passion for computer programming, with a current emphasis on Java programming language and web technologies, including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and their associated tools, libraries, and frameworks. Beyond his dedication to honing his programming skills, he also harbors a keen interest in education. He actively engages in teaching endeavors and undertakes research projects geared towards the development of interactive and innovative tools designed to facilitate the teaching of programming to beginners and visual learners.

Moreover, obtaining a master’s degree is a pivotal step in my career development, as it aligns with my aspirations to contribute to academia in higher learning institutions.

I eagerly anticipate leveraging my acquired knowledge and skills to actively participate in research, programming, and various advisory capacities. My aim is to contribute to the creation of practical solutions for real-life problems. By doing so, I aspire to bring about a positive impact not only to my organization but also to the broader community. My commitment lies in the pursuit of meaningful contributions that address challenges and foster positive change.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the HEET project and Sokoine University of Agriculture for affording me the privilege of being part of this incredible opportunity.
