Message from the Vice Chancellor
Welcome to Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA), where we are proud to be implementing the Higher Education for Economic Transformation (HEET) project, in partnership with the Government of Tanzania and the World Bank. The HEET project is a five-year venture worth $425 million (Sh972 billion) that aims to strengthen the learning environment and labor market alignment of priority programs, while enhancing the delivery of knowledge to produce graduates who meet the demand and standard of the current and future labor market. At SUA, we have been allocated Sh73.6 billion to support the construction and repair of infrastructure, improve curricula, purchase equipment, and facilitate staff training. We invite you to explore our website to learn more about the HEET project and its exciting developments.
